The Project for innovation, Energy and Sustainability TM (PiES) - A Green Business Incubator
PiES is a public-private partnership with the community it serves. It provides assistance to local entrepreneurs in the commonly needed realms of business growth and development; technical assistance; funding and marketing.
PiES provides a structure for start-up and early stage green businesses to assist them through the various phases of business development. The PiES incubator helps innovators and entreprenuers create jobs in the new economy with emphasis on recycling, energy efficiency, renewable energy, green buildings, sustainable food and other qualified green businesses. We are community based, accelerating innovations from the private sector with support from regional colleges and universities furthering the triple bottom line of community sustainability.
PiES mission includes three key elements: Incubation, Education & Networking
PiES is a member of the North Carolina Business Incubation Association (NCBIA) and is the Charlotte region BALLE Network - Business Alliance for Local Living Economies.
